Golf is the most popular games in all over the world. Especially in European countries, this game is most popular. This is the game which can played people of any ages.  A lot of golf followers are spread in all over the world. This sports was starting from Scotland where first game was played on Mussel burgh Links, East Lothian Scotland in 1672. It is the one of the oldest golf course in the world which is also written in Guinness book of world records. The first professional tournament was played in Scotland at Prestwick Golf Club on 17 October 1860. If you talk about golf equipment's, some most commonly used golf equipment's are as follows:

Golf Ball

There are different types of golf balls are available. These balls have a two, to four layer design. It is making from various synthetic materials. Its diameter is 42.67mm and its weight is not allowed more than 45.93g. In starting of any tournaments Golfers should take approval of their balls from the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and the United States Golf Association. In these balls four layer design ball are most expensive.

Golf Clubs

Golf Clubs are used in golf for hitting the ball. In tournaments, Player carries lot of clubs during the game but according to the rules player are not allowed to carries more than fourteen clubs. Commonly three types of golf clubs are used, wood, irons, and putters. Wood clubs are used for playing long shorts from the tee; irons are used for playing long shorts from rough or unsmooth surface and putters are very useful when playing from bunkers. Hybrid clubs are also very popular. It is also used for long lofted shorts from rough but it is very expensive.

Ball Markers

It is a flat round piece of plastic or metal which is used to mark the position of a ball when the ball is picked up on the putting green. It is placed behind the golf ball when it is lifted. After the opponents short, it is replaced in front of the ball marker.

Golf Tee

It is a plastic or wooden stand. Golfers put his ball on it's and play high lofting short easily. According to rules it is only allowed for first stroke.  Two types of golf tees are available, Wood tees and Plastic tees. Wood tees are less expensive as compare to plastic tees. Golfers prefer plastic tees because it is last long as compare to wood tees. It is also very expensive and size is varies according to the club. The regular size of tees is 3-3.5".

Golf bag

In Different Types of Golf Equipment golf bags are one of the important elements of golf equipment. Golfers are using special types of bags which are designed according to golf equipment and accessories. Commonly used golf bags are making by canvas, nylon and other leather materials. These special types bags have several pockets which are help the golfers to put their golf accessories.

Golf cart

It is a type of electric vehicles which are used by golfers when they move along the golf course during a new round of golf as transportation. Hand cart is also used in this sports which can hold only golfer bags when they walking along the course. These golf carts are also uses for course staff.

Golf is a game of rich persons because its accessories and equipment are very expensive as compare to other sports. In every year lot of international tournaments play in different countries and winning money of these tournaments is higher than other sports games.
